It’s never an easy thing to stick to a diet; you have to follow certain restrictions and guidelines and most of the time these “new rules” make the whole dieting experience difficult . That’s why the Food Lovers fat loss system comes with its own motivational CDs to support you. (You can find out more about what you get when you Try food lovers diet here)
And although the CDs are great and very helpful, there are still a few things that I’d like to share with you on this post regarding ways of staying motivated on the Food Lovers fat loss system.
My Food Lovers Fat Loss Tip #1 - Regard Dieting As Another Form of Education
That’s right, whether you’re on the Food Lovers diet program or any other weight loss plan, you should always look at dieting as another form of education. If you take a moment to think about it, what is dieting really about?
For me, it’s about LEARNING how to eat in a way that will help me lose weight. It’s about DEVELOPING new habits that will help me maintain my new weight. For me, the whole point of dieting is to learn about nutrition through my own body. And that’s exactly what the Food Lovers fat loss system did for me.
In addition, the Food Lovers diet didn’t rely on very complex theories to teach me. I simply followed the guidelines, the proportions and today, I can easily discern the foods I should eat, in what combination and what I should avoid.
My Food Lovers Fat Loss Tip #2 – Stay Optimistic
A lot of people (including myself ) associate dieting with negative emotions (I don’t do that anymore though ) based on what we’ve heard or experienced in the past. If all you can think of when you hear the word “diet” are negative thoughts, then you’re only making it harder on yourself. Why? Simply having pessimistic thoughts about something is like telling your subconscious that you don’t want to do it.
And if you try to force it, it won’t last. That’s why, after dieting for years, I can tell you that the second most important thing about dieting is your attitude towards it.
My Food Lovers Fat Loss Tip #3 - Have Some Close Support
There’s nothing better than having someone close to you as support. I’ve had help from my siblings and it really makes a difference. You can also try and have someone you know very well follow the Food Lovers diet plan with you.
My Food Lovers Fat Loss System Tip #4 – Setting up Goals
Everyone’s heard this a million times, and I know I’m not being very original about this tip but setting up goals is really important. Even in my Food Lovers diet newsletter I talk about the importance of setting up goals. It’s not like I have anything new to add about it, it’s just that I wanted to emphasize this point because everything you do, whether you are conscious of it or not is because you are aiming for something
In this case, with the Food Lovers fat loss system, you’re aiming to lose weight. But why? Is it for health? For the looks? Asking yourself these questions will help you clarify what you’re trying to do. In my case, I originally wanted to lose weight for the looks but after finding out how superficial that goal was I changed it for health. And well, the looking good part just came with it as a bonus .
