The Food Lovers diet program was created with the intention of helping people who love food lose weight. So far I’ve lost 26 lbs of fat permanently using the Food Lovers Fat Loss System. And best of all, I barely had to exercise to get to this point.
You Don’t Have To Exercise To Lose Weight
When it comes to losing weight naturally, not everyone needs to exercise to see results. It all depends on how fat you currently are. For instance, back in the days before I decided to try food lovers, I was easily considered obese and was in fact 70 pounds over my weight limit according to my doctor. But after losing close to half of that fat I realized that eating better was more important.
-Nutrition is king.
Developing New Eating Habits Is More Important
Basically, the reason why the food lovers diet program worked better than going to the gym is because it taught me how to eat healthy. It wasn’t easy at first, but after the second week I was hooked on this weight loss program.
My eating habits slowly transitioned from bad to good; I learned how to eat the right proportions and how to eat in a certain way so that I would feel fuller longer. You can learn more about how the food lovers diet plan works here.
The Simple Truth Behind Weight Loss
Despite what you may have heard, the only TRUTH you need to understand about losing weight naturally is the following formula:
Caloric Intake < Caloric Output = Caloric Deficit
It’s not rocket science, all you need to do to lose fat is to create a caloric deficit each day. Even if you were to eat a lot of healthy foods, if your intake ends up higher than your output then you’ll always be left with residue which is then stored as fat.
Of course, creating a constant caloric deficit is not an easy task. That’s why the food lovers diet program was really useful in helping me accomplish this. It helped me beat cravings, didn’t completely ban my favorite treats and most important of all made sure to stimulate my metabolism by teaching me how to eat the right combination of foods.
The Food Lovers Diet Program Vs. Exercising
Think about it, how much time do you spend working out? If you trained 4 days a week for 1 hour, that would give you a total of 4 hours of exercising per week. Assuming that each of your workout burns around 150-300 calories, you’d burn a total of 600-1200 calories per week from working out. (keep in mind that one pound of fat is equivalent to 3500 calories)
With that said, if you simply reduced your caloric intake by 150 calories/day for one week. You’d burn 1050 calories without exercising at all! And with the food lovers diet program you can easily cut back 500 calories/day without feeling hungry or having to fight off cravings.
What If I Decide To Exercise?
It wouldn’t hurt to exercise (especially if you want to speed up your fat loss) but remember no matter how much you exercise if you have bad eating habits then you’re never going to get the results you desire. I’ve spent hundreds of dollars on beachbody products like P90x ($100+) and Insanity ($100+) only to learn the hard way that exercising really doesn’t do much if you don’t eat well.
-Fat loss is 70% nutrition and 30% exercise.
Dieting Warning – Turtle Vs. Hare
Although exercising can speed up your weight loss you also need to be wary of two things. Number one, exercising will cause caloric expenditure to increase dramatically and will in turn greatly affect hunger levels.
This increase in hunger will most likely be beyond what the food lovers diet program was designed to help you cope with. So if you think you can control yourself, that is overcome your hunger and cravings than you’re more than welcome to train but if you don’t think you can do this or simply don’t know, then don’t!
-Slow and steady wins the race…
Secondly, if you’re not used to exercising, don’t force it! Start from a beginner’s fat loss workout and slowly build your endurance and strength so that you can handle more intense workouts. (You can get the same workouts I did by signing up to my food lovers newsletter).
On a personal note, I didn’t add any workouts to my weight loss plan before I got used to the food lovers diet program. It was only after sticking to the diet for 2 weeks that I started adding some simple workouts here and there. Worked out pretty well for me
