The Food Lovers Diet – People I Knew Said It Worked…

For many years now, I’ve been looking for ways to lose weight permanently and naturally. During those years, I did a lot of research and tried dozens of different weight loss products only to be left disappointed :( . No matter what I did or tried, the weight just wouldn’t go away or if it did, it would simply come back after a short while. (yo-yo effect of dieting…)

I remember thinking at some point that my body was never going to lose the extra pounds and that I would remain unhealthy and fat for the rest of my life. Just when I was about to give up, my brother’s friend, who had succeeded in losing weight, recommended that I try the Food Lovers diet plan. I was skeptical at first, I mean who wouldn’t?

My past experiences with diets told me that there would be a high probability of me suffering from either cravings, hunger or both. If you’re like me, a veteran dieter, then you should know better than anyone else how strict and tricky diets can be. It was only after hearing a similar success story from one of my co-workers that I started researching this diet. I eventually gave it a try, even though at that time, I still wasn’t convinced that the Food Lovers diet program would work.

What The Food Lovers Fat Loss System Did For Me

Within the third month of following the Food Lovers diet plan, I had already lost 26 pounds. That’s a little bit over 2 pounds each week! I was amazed and very much happy at my results! The Food Lovers Fat Loss Plan Doesn’t Really Feel Like a Diet

Unlike other fad diets or crash diets, the Food Lovers diet didn’t require me to give up all of my favorite foods nor did it require me to eat very little. So throughout my whole diet, I don’t remember one instance of having to deal with food cravings or hunger. Isn’t that just swell? :)

In my opinion, the best part of the Food Lovers diet is the fact that I barely had to exercise. As you’ll see on my About Me page, I’m not very athletic or active. I’ve heard stories about people who managed to lose weight by following the Food Lovers diet plan alone. However, if you want to get faster results then I suggest that you workout.

The Problem With The Food Lovers Fat Loss Program

The biggest issued I’ve had with the Food Lovers Fat Loss System was that I had to come up with my own workouts. The only workout you get when you try Food Lovers diet is on a DVD and like me, you’ll probably get bored by it at the end of the first month.

When that happens, I recommend that  you come up with your own workout programs. Don’t let boredom become a reason for not exercising! Especially if you’re trying to lose weight fast.  In my case, I combined the diet with my own workouts and look where it got me. 26 lbs lighter! :P

My Food Lovers Diet – Overall Review

Overall, I really enjoyed this diet and for the very first time since I’ve started trying to lose weight, I can honestly say that every dollar invested in the Food Lovers diet was worth it. Each component of the diet was useful in some way.

And if I had to rate this diet on a scale from 1 to 10, 10 being the highest you can get, I’d probably give it a 9 on 10. The one point deduction is because the Food Lovers diet doesn’t give you a lot of training programs.

In the end, the Food Lovers diet program not only changed me physically, but it also changed my eating habits for the better. I now make healthier choices and know what to eat to keep a high metabolism almost instinctively thanks to the Food Lovers diet.
